A recovering journalist, Nicole left behind the bustling city-life of Vancouver for fresh air, four seasons, and the rocky mountains. She now finds herself living in a teeny-tiny town in southeastern B.C. with her husband, adorable but crazy two-year-old daughter, and two very energetic dogs. Nicole is now happy to divide her time between writing, piano teaching, and mountain adventuring with her busy family.

Jared’s job experience includes time in construction, retail, hotel, restaurant, sales, writing, editing, publishing, human resources, business analysis, and consulting. He dabbles in game design, rages against machines, and may someday commit to hedonism (though it seems like a lot of work).
