Sitting is the new smoking. Seriously.
Time to get up from our desks, chairs, couches or wherever we're currently perched while we read (or write) this, and MOVE OUR BODIES! Whatever floats your boat (or moves your butt) is the right thing to do. Dance. Hopscotch. Bicycle rides. Or just go for a good old fashioned walk.
What happpens if I don't MOVE?
Inactivity is detrimental to your health in all kinds of interesting ways. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, not moving enough can result anxiety, depression, cardiovascular disease, obesity and even certain types of cancer.
