I generally operate under the 80/20 rule as a way to help me judge when it’s time for a change. If more than 20% of the time I wake up NOT wanting to do what is in my calendar or on my list for that day, then it’s time to change something. Sometimes that means changing the things on my list, the projects I’m working on, or my job. Sometimes, it means changing my attitude, or the way I’m approaching the project.
If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today?
